Saturday Morning
Thank goodness for the weekend
The goodness of a Saturday morning cannot be stressed enough. After a busy week, with the schools going back and deadlines met, to be able to sit, hugging coffee and cover, catching up on the USA Presidential Campaign, well I couldn’t be happier.
Simple pleasures I’m so grateful for.
I’m following the campaign closely as I’m rooting for Kamala Harris for President. Hell yes. And I know I live in the UK, I know I’m British. You don’t need to tell me. But accept it or not, what’s going on across the pond has the potential to affect the whole world.
We’ve got to send around the world our thoughts and prayers that Harris wins come November for the sake of democracy, decency, world peace and love.
So on that note, I offer a sneaky little peek at the next Black Nature in Residence Zine from the five creatives who have been in residence in the five northern National Parks of England this year.
It is full of love and joy and colour!
We’ll be having our final virtual event of the whole programme on the evening of 22 October. It promises to be a celebration of all things good and wholesome.
More details to follow. For now, enjoy your Saturday.
